- Beat the Odds is a $16,000 scholarship ($4,000 per year, renewable for up to four years) for students who are succeeding in school despite challenges such as poverty, homelessness, disability, personal tragedy, etc. This year, priority consideration will be given to students who will be the very first person in their immediate family to attend a 4-year college.

- The Home Depot Foundation wants to help create the next generation of skilled trade leaders by providing $2,000 scholarships to further your education. This scholarship is specifically for seniors who are going to attend an approved trade-related program (Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or Construction Management) at an accredited two-year school.

- U.S. Senate Youth Program-open to juniors and seniors
- $10,000 scholarship and an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington D.C. in March. Applications are open to high school juniors and seniors who are serving in an elected or selected capacity in student government and/or other school and district civil or educational organizations. Students must be nominated by their high school.

- U of O offers a variety of scholarships for incoming freshmen. Some scholarships for incoming freshmen require an additional and separate application. - The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program is among the largest undergraduate scholarship programs available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial needs who seek to attend the nation’s best four-year colleges and universities. Each award is intended to cover a significant share of the student’s educational experience – including tuition, living expenses, books, and required fees. - Program is for graduating high school seniors (or equivalent) who have never enrolled full time in a 2- or 4- year college and are seeking a bachelor's degree. This program is offered in both Oregon and Siskiyou County, Calif.
- Amount pays 90% of the remaining need of student tuition for 4 years at an Oregon College.

- Horatio Alger Association State Scholarships
- The Horatio Alger Association state scholarship was designed to assist high school students who have faced yet overcome adversities. Awardees will be granted a $10,000 scholarship. Applicants must be US citizens, a high school Junior or high school Senior. Different scholarship opportunities depending on your grade level. Must pursue a bachelor’s degree at a public or private institution, some scholarships are specific to a university. If you start at a two years institution they then can transfer to a four-year institution. The family must have an adjusted gross family income ranging from $65,000 or lower, and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.

- The Oregon Scholastic regional program is open to all students in grades 7 through 12*, who live in Oregon. The Oregon Scholastic Art and Writing Awards is celebrated with regional exhibitions and ceremonies hosted by various sponsors. Regional Gold Key selected artwork will continue on to the national competition in New York.

- To provide support and encourage Hispanics to continue their higher education, The Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber provides annual scholarship awards to qualifying applicants. Must be of Hispanic ancestry, permanently residing in Oregon, a US citizen or legal resident, and a GPA of 3.0.

- College/University Scholarship: Multiple scholarships awarded ($1,000 - $2,000 each) to graduating high school seniors who are U.S. citizens, have a 3.75 GPA or above (ACT/SAT scores are not mandatory, but judging points will be awarded for the test scores, if included).
- Vocational/Technical/Trade School Scholarship: Ten $1,000 scholarships awarded to graduating high school seniors who are U.S. citizens and have a 3.25 GPA or above.

- John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest
- The contest is open to United States high school students in grades nine through twelve attending public, private, parochial, or home schools; US students under the age of twenty enrolled in a high school correspondence/GED program; and US citizens attending schools overseas.
- Contest topic: Describe and analyze an act of political courage by a U.S. elected official who served during or after 1917, the year John F. Kennedy was born. Include an analysis of the obstacles, risks, and consequences associated with the act. The essay may concern an issue at the local, state, national, or international level.

- Oregon State University CAMP
- The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) is a federally funded program designed to support students from migrant and seasonal farm worker backgrounds during their first year in college. CAMP supports students by providing services to help enroll in, complete their first year of college, increase the retention to their second year, and achieve a postsecondary degree.

- Up to twelve $2,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Oregon. Award based on school and community involvement, academics, and an essay on the wheat industry. Must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA, be the child of a grower member of the Oregon Wheat Growers League or have a parent/guardian employed by a grower member of the League or a student who has worked summers for a grower member. Applicants must be planning to enroll in a university, community college or accredited vocational or technical program.

- MESA Math Education Scholarship Award EOU
- MESA is a scholarship program designed to help bring capable, undergraduate students to EOU to pursue Bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and to be prepared for entry into the Masters of Teaching/Teacher Licensure program in the College of Education. The MESA Program is designed specifically for Undergraduate students that are interested in becoming a secondary school mathematics teacher. Eastern Oregon secondary schools need well trained teachers to offer the higher level math curriculum now required of all schools by the Common Core State Standards in Mathematics. EOU has the capacity to produce more teachers from its programs and the MESA scholarship program will help bring students into EOU mathematics and teacher education programs. Scholarship awards will range from $2,000 to $4,000 per year and may be renewed annually until graduation.

- The Al Forthan Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an Oregon high school senior from a family affected by alcohol or drug addiction. Affected by addiction means you have been raised by a parent or guardian who has experienced addiction or you have abused alcohol or drugs and are now pursuing recovery.

- Every year, HSF selects 10,000 outstanding students as HSF Scholars from a broad and talented pool of applicants. HSF awards more than $30 million in Scholarships annually and, depending upon available funds, HSF Scholars may also be eligible to receive a scholarship, which range from $500-$5,000 and awarded directly to students

- The purpose of this need-based scholarship is to encourage and provide individuals of farmworker families that live in Oregon with the opportunity to further their academic or technical education at the educational institution of their choosing. Individual awards range from $1,500-$5,000 per scholarship winner. Amounts awarded are determined by the number of completed applications received and scoring.

- Oregon Music Hall of Fame
- OMHOF awards yearly scholarships to selected graduating Oregon high school seniors who have exhibited serious pursuit and accomplishment in their personal musicianship – and who are college-bound music majors and music minors. Recipients are publicly recognized at an award presentation where each performs onstage, demonstrating mastery of his/her instrument. 4 scholarships are awarded across the state.
- A 5th scholarship is specifically for a female Oregon high school graduate continuing to major in: Broadcasting, Communications/PR, Music Therapy, Music Technology, Music Business, Music Theory, or Music Production.

- Mente Scholarship (Oregon)
- The purpose of the Mente Summit Scholarship is to encourage and provide Latinx student males the opportunity to further their academic and technical potential as they prepare to become future leaders. Selected scholarship recipients will be awarded a one-time $1,000 scholarship for higher education.

- Cancer Pathways Teen Writing Contest
- Open to 9th-12th graders who are impacted by cancer and live in the U.S. Essay length not to exceed 1,500 words. Essay must be original content of the author in their own voice. Cash prizes of $1,000 will be awarded to winners.

- Last year the Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation was able to give $9,000 to twelve area high school students pursuing medical careers or a science-based degrees. The total scholarships awarded by the Foundation for the 2024-2025 school year was $75,500, as they also have scholarship categories for college students and employees.

- CBC's Foundation offers a variety of scholarships for students based on many factors including academic achievement, field of study, and financial need. Our new online scholarship is now open. The CBC Foundation has over 1 million dollars it has raised to help students pay for their education at CBC.

- The Dream US National Scholarship
- We think of our National Scholarship as the “Pell Grant” for highly motivated undocumented students who are eligible to receive in-state tuition in their home state (not applicable if attending a private institution) but still have significant, unmet financial need. The program key code is: Dream
- The following are the requirements for the 2026-2027 Round: Applications are open to undocumented immigrant students with or without DACA or TPS who came to the U.S. before the age of 16 and before Nov. 1, 2020. The National Scholarship Award will cover your tuition and fees at one of our Partner Colleges up to a maximum of $33,000 for a bachelor’s degree.

- Western Oregon University David S. Brody Scholarship
- This is one of WOU’s most prestigious awards because it is their only full-ride scholarship. Must be bilingual, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, be an incoming freshman or transfer student. Preference for members of underrepresented ethnic minority groups, first generation college bound, demonstrated financial need, demonstrated strong academic record. Apply through your Scholarship University account once you are admitted to WOU.

- AWS Foundation Scholarships- Welding
- If you are currently enrolled, or will soon enroll, in a welding program or a related field, then consider applying for our scholarships. Scholarships are available for students attending a trade school, community college and four-year universities. An AWS Foundation Scholarship can be the extra push that helps you fulfill your goals!
- AWS Foundation Scholarships are for tuition, fees, books, supplies, or equipment required for the course of instruction. Scholarships awarded will be sent directly to the academic or training institution.

- Oregon Farm Bureau Memorial Scholarship
- Be attending a school with an agricultural-related program and be enrolled in that program.
- Be majoring in a field of agriculture and/or forestry and preparing to continue his/her education through a community college, or a four-year college or university. OR be a child or grandchild of a current voting member of Farm Bureau in Oregon (regardless of major) and demonstrate in #18 how their chosen field of study will impact Oregon agriculture.

- Eastern Oregon University welcomes students from other countries who hold an F-1 visa, part of COFA (Federated States of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, Palau) or those who are undocumented living in the United States to pursue higher education. Eastern Oregon University is committed to providing opportunities to assist students in successfully accomplishing academic goals.

- Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation- Dependent Scholarship
- The foundation is the nation's oldest and largest provider of need-based scholarships to military families. The mission of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is to Honor Marines by Educating Their Children. If you have confirmed your eligibility (mcsf.org/eligibility) and read the FAQs (mcsf.org/scholarship-faqs), you are ready to submit your application for a scholarship award.

- This scholarship is open to HS seniors or students already enrolled in a trade or CTE related program. This includes Apprenticeship programs, community college CTE programs, certification programs, trade schools (culinary school, cosmetology, etc.)

The scholarship is open to students at any educational level and field of study. - Oregon Student Aid
Oregon Opportunity Grant
- Available to students who qualify for Federal Pell Grants and awarded for those attending Oregon post-high schools on first-come, first-granted. OSAC encourages applicants to submit their FAFSAs as soon after October 1st as possible to ensure priority consideration for a grant. OSAC will make awards until funds are depleted, which has occurred around February 1. No separate application is needed, just your FAFSA/ORSAA filed.
