The Ione School District is thrilled to announce that last night; the School Board voted in favor of bringing all of our Secondary Students back to school full time / four days a week beginning February 8th. This date will allow staff, students and parents a chance to prepare for the block schedule (see below). While we wanted to go back to a regular schedule that was not going to be possible because of continued “classroom size restrictions” from the State of Oregon, and a few other complications. The block schedule is what we are focusing on so that kids can be in school every day. Thank you all for your patience, and we will work together to make this transition as smooth as possible.
