Ione School District

Great news from the Oregon Dept. of Education. For almost two years, the Ione School Board has been looking into putting a Bond up on the May 2021 ballot. The Ione School District applied for, and just received the news that we were issued a $4,000,000.00 matching grant commitment from ODE if we pass a bond in May.
These matching grants have our neighboring School Districts like Echo, Condon, Stanfield, Athena-Weston, Pilot Rock and many others to improve their facilities.
The Bond Feasibility Committee will be seeking the public’s input as to how to WE might best utilize these funds to improve our facilities.
