Class of 2025

In January of 2026, the Oregon Department of Education released its annual report surrounding graduation rates for the 2024-2025 school year.

Ione School District is proud to report a 100% graduation rate, indicating a significant increase from the 2023-2024 school year rate, which was 77.8%.

According to Tracey Johnson, Superintendent and K-12 Principal, the district attributes this success to its laser-focus on student attendance; encouraging students to be at school all day, every day, on time.

She also said that creating a tightly knit school community helps promote this behavior. When students feel like they belong at their school, it makes them want to be in the building and learn with - and from - the people who surround them.

“This accomplishment should be celebrated by the Ione Community as a whole. Strong graduation rates reflect the time and dedication of our students, their families, and the school professionals who show up each day to support positive student outcomes. We could not do this without you and your steadfast commitment to education,” Johnson said.
